  • Believing when no one else does - explores 3 key areas of belief so that students find strength in themselves, in others and in God - ideal for grades 10 and 11
  • Leadership for Teens - explores what leadership looks like (it's not always what you think it is) and the various styles so that teens can uncover their inner leader

We brought Amanda back 3 years in a row

When we asked the students who they would like as a speaker, they said "bring the magic lady back" so we invited Amanda back 3 times.

Amanda explored the topics we were going to do that afternoon. She drilled down more deeply than I had.

Amanda tied the magic tricks to discussion points about leadership, courage and discovering our own unique gifts.

We asked Amanda to come give a presentation to a group of student leaders who were in the midst of planning a social justice 24-hour fasting event for the greater student body.

Amanda was punctual, and while having a lot of equipment, was efficient and professional about setup and props during her presentation.

Amanda gave a whole-hearted, passionate, personal, and entertaining presentation about leadership, responsibility, courage, and what it means to lead with others and for others in a spirit humility and gratitude. The visual flair was great!

The magic tricks, of course, were a hit! Amanda tied the magic tricks to discussion points about leadership, courage and discovering our own unique gifts. The students had themselves been fasting, and so were tired, but Amanda charged through with energy and enthusiasm, and humour and that wasn’t lost on the students afterwards.

The visual flair of the magic tricks was great! It kept the students interest, sparked discussion that continued long after Amanda left.
